“From the Inkwell’s” goal is for Los Angeles writers looking to have their stunning world builds, captivating dialogue, and magnetic characters finally get the positive and supportive spotlight they so deserve. Whether you’re showcasing your script, looking to network with other writers, or just love to listen to entertaining works, we can’t wait to see you there!

Submission Deadline 10/13
Scripts are selected at random to be read live by their respective writer(s) and small cast. One winner will be crowned by audience vote.
CONTEST RULES
- All prospective scripts must be 12 – 35 pages
- Writers must provide readers (4 max)
- Writers will read stage directions
- Scripts may not, for any reason, contain hateful speech or circumstances
- Winner will be able to read a new script at a future showcase and featured on our website
